Stakeholders recognize that a significant rebranding effort coupled with primary page redesign efforts are needed to help make their platform more intuitive and user friendly. Not evaluated since their start, stakeholders have noticed a dated and overly complex user experience.

Provide a more relevant, intuitive and seamless solution that offers users exceptional functionality that both builds upon and enhances their current platform experience.

Conducting competitor research, launching a survey, journey mapping, producing high-fidelity mockups, accounting for accessibility, iterating on designs and validation.
the FINDINGS
RESEARCH SUMMARY
I conducted a survey and competitor analysis, which I then turned into empathy maps to better understand the target user and their needs. I discovered that many target users desire a more simplistic layout that highlights key data points and more straightforward navigation. Although the platform excels in its overall purpose, users would appreciate a smoother process to accomplish their desired task. Respondents confirmed the stakeholders' key areas of focus, acknowledging that other pages and operations are secondary and relatively unimportant to the overall focus features.
